While I hope that it doesn’t affect me down the road, I want this newsletter to be completely honest. This salary seems a bit low for 5+ years of experience and a preferred MBA in NYC. That said, the role itself does seem really cool.
I spent 2+ years at The Athletic, and while it could have changed since it was acquired by the NYT, I loved my time there. There are many great, smart people who work there in both HQ and the newsroom.
Getting brands to work with Messi’s club? Say less.
