Hey, everyone. I have been having a hard week. I’ve taken on a lot of projects, which have become difficult to manage while also training for a marathon and trying to maintain some semblance of a social life.

I have tried to preach work-life balance because that’s something that I didn’t prioritize when I was first starting out in my career. I still think that balance is vital; however, I’ve also been reminding myself that it’s not always realistic every single day.

One fun and silly thing that’s been helping me out? This silly app I found on Threads called Focus Friend. You set a timer that essentially locks your phone and helps you stop scrolling so you can lock in. It’s also just so cute.
