Scholarships Available: AAJA (Asian American Journalists Association) Sports Task Force has scholarships available for students and early graduates. The three scholarships are the Michael Kim Journalism Fellowship ($2,500), the Al Young Sports Journalism Scholarship ($2,500) and the Jimmie & Suey Fong Yee Grants ($2,000/each).

I can personally attest to the value of AAJA and its mission to lead the industry to greater diversity, equity and inclusion. During a time when DEI can be viewed as a “controversial” topic, Sports Jobs will always stand for the value of diversity, equity and inclusion.
