Hi. Last week, I had a pretty overwhelming week of working, job hunting, freelancing, interviewing and pitching. While I work toward what’s next for me, I am intentionally trying to become more comfortable with failure.

For every job interview you land, you’ll probably get five rejections. For every yes you receive, you’ll hear 10 nos. It can be discouraging, but to succeed, we must be willing to put ourselves out there.

This idea has been reinforced in a book that I’ve been reading lately called “Lose Well” by comedian Chris Gethard. This quote has really stuck with me.

Let’s put ourselves out there and get after it!
